Knowing the best colours to use for your eye colour will enhance their brightness, look and shape. Whether a brown eyed girl, blue eyed babe, green eyed goddess, or anything in between, I have everything you need to know in order to have your peepers looking amazing.
Brown:
Brown eyed girls should adopt deep shades that will highlight dark eyes, such as dark grey, navy, brown, black and plum. It is important to avoid pastels as they will bring out the whites of your eyes but wash out the richness of the actual eye colour. In order to add lightness to your eyes avoid matte eyeshadows and instead use metallic shadows that will reflect your eyes beauty. Metallic colours that compliment brown eyes are gold, copper, bronze, brown and silver. To add intensity to your eyes apply black, navy or plum eyeliner along both the top and bottom lash lines.

Blue:

Alternatively colours to avoid include blues and greens as these shades will reduce the intensity of your eyes. To bring out your pupils go for contrasting colours - try out dark colours such as black and dark grey, focusing especially on the outer corners of the eye. Always finish your eye make-up with a coat of mascara to add intensity to the eyes.

Green:

Applying a slight amount of dark green eye liner to the bottom lash line highlights and reflects the colour of the iris creating intense colour. In addition, in order to create more intensity for a night out add dark eyeshadow in either grey, plum or navy to the outter corner of your eye which will enhance the brightness to the eyes.
